Don Felder has a handful of previously announced U.S. summer concerts on his schedule in support of his recent solo album American Rock ‘n’ Roll, and now the ex-Eagles guitarist has lined up three shows in major European cities this September to promote the record.
The overseas gigs will take place September 19 in London, September 21 in Paris and September 23 in Berlin. The London show will be Felder’s first-ever solo performance in the U.K.
The 71-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s next concert takes place this Friday, July 12, in Burnsville, Minnesota, and also will feature John Waite. His other confirmed summer shows are scheduled for July 14 in Littleton, Colorado; August 9 in Reno, Nevada; September 5, in Mayetta, Kansas; and September 14 in Biloxi, Mississippi. After his European performances, Felder also will be playing a December 5-6 stand in Spring, Texas.
American Rock ‘n’ Roll was released in April, and is the first solo album from Felder in more than six years. The record features contributions from a variety of well-known guest artists, including Slash, Peter Frampton, Sammy Hagar, Rush‘s Alex Lifeson, The Grateful Dead‘s Bob Weir, Fleetwood Mac‘s Mick Fleetwood, Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Chad Smith, Richie Sambora, Joe Satriani and members of Toto.
