Glenn Frey’s 1969 duo album with JD Souther, “Longbranch/Pennywhistle,” to be reissued next month

Geffen/UMePrior to the formation of The Eagles, the late Glenn Frey made music with his good friend and frequent songwriting partner JD Souther under the name Longbranch/Pennywhistle. The duo released a self-titled album in 1969, and now that record will be reissued on September 28 on CD and as a 180-gram-vinyl LP.
