Although the COVID-19 pandemic has put plans for new Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp installments on hold until 2021, several veteran musicians will be taking part in a series of Rock Fantasy Camp-sponsored “Masterclass” tutorials running from this Monday, June 1, through Sunday, June 7.
Among the participating artists in the live interactive online music classes are ex-Grand Funk Railroad frontman Mark Farner, Rascals singer/keyboardist Felix Cavaliere and founding Bad Company and Free drummer Simon Kirke.
During the Masterclasses, the featured artists will share vocal, musical and songwriting tips, tell stories about their eventful careers, answer questions from attendees and more.
Prices for the events range from $100 to $200. Each class will be limited to 20 attendees, will run for an hour and will start at 8 p.m. ET.
The other artists hosting upcoming Masterclass meetings are Lita Ford, ex-Quiet Riot and Dio bassist Rudy Sarzo, one-time Joe Walsh and Crosby, Stills & Nash drummer Joe Vitale and acclaimed producer Mike Clink, whose resume includes Guns N’ Roses‘ debut album, Appetite for Destruction. In addition, surprise guest artists may pop into online classes unannounced.
